Kitchen Display System

Overview

Replace printed kitchen tickets with digital displays. Orders appear instantly on screens in the kitchen, organized by station and course. Mark items as preparing or ready in real time.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Set Up Stations

Go to Restaurant → Kitchen and create stations: Grill, Cold, Fryer, Bar, etc.

2

Assign Menu Items

Link each menu item to its primary kitchen station. Items can go to multiple stations if needed.

3

Configure Displays

On each kitchen tablet or TV, open ninopos.com/kitchen and log in. Select the station name to show only relevant orders.

4

Process Orders

When an order is sent, it appears on the correct display. Tap Start when cooking begins and Done when ready for service.

5

Bump Bar (Optional)

Connect a USB bump bar for hands-free operation in busy kitchens.

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: Use color coding: red = overdue, yellow = due soon, green = on time.
Tip: Set audio alerts for new orders so kitchen staff don't miss anything during rush hours.
